Since 2009, I have been studying in the field of seismology and seismic risk analysis. Over this time, I have worked as a seismicity expert and did research in many accredited Iranian companies, such as Harazrah Consulting Engineers Group. The area of expertise that I have focused on could be divided into two parts.
The first part would include my research and studies in the field of tectonics. I have succeeded in having my articles published in significant international journals, and also written a considerably large number of technical reports focusing on seismic risk analysis for important structures, such as dams, tunnels, and bridges. A record of my works is available bellow. I am deeply interested in doing research and teaching in this field, and over the past few months, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been teaching classes all over the world online, and tried my best not to be distanced from my research.
The second part would be my research into Paleoclimate and Paleomorphology. Over the last decade, I found solid evidence supporting that an ancient mega-lake existed in central Iran. Additionally, I have written some papers about that, which could be the first steps in the introduction of this lake. I intend to broaden my research into this lake in order to find a solution from the past for the issue of climate change we are faced with today.
